Outcome Measurement
3 OM hrs
Auditing your own results: Clavien-Dindo complication grading, PROM responses, colposcopy–histology correlation, and the statistics that fall out of them.
RANZCOG CPD Approved Activity
Surgibud is approved by RANZCOG as a CPD activity. Fellows and members who use it are eligible to claim 5 hours every year — 3 in Outcome Measurement and 2 in Performance Review, the two categories that are hardest to fill from a conference lanyard.
Outcome Measurement and Performance Review reward looking honestly at your own practice. That is precisely what Surgibud is for — so the hours come from work you are already doing.
Outcome Measurement
3 OM hrs
Auditing your own results: Clavien-Dindo complication grading, PROM responses, colposcopy–histology correlation, and the statistics that fall out of them.
Performance Review
2 PR hrs
Reviewing how you practise: reflections attached to real cases, peer-operating records, and a regular look at your own numbers.
Educational Activities
0 EA hrs
Not covered by this approval — but the CPD activity log will happily hold your conferences, courses, and reading.
No extra homework
Use Surgibud the way you already would — log cases, work through your audit queue, let the PROMs send themselves.
Look over your statistics and outcomes, and add a reflection or two. That is the actual CPD — Surgibud just makes it painless.
Generate your CPD certificate in-app, then record the activity in your RANZCOG CPD portfolio, quoting Activity ID #1391.
College approval changes nothing about who sees your logbook: only you. Surgibud sends nothing to RANZCOG — not your cases, not your outcomes, not even whether you have an account. You claim the hours yourself and decide what evidence, if any, leaves your logbook.
The approved 5 hours are the start. Surgibud's CPD log holds everything else too — log an activity and it suggests which RANZCOG activity and domain it fits, then produces sign-off PDFs grouped by hospital when recertification comes round.
Not with RANZCOG? The same audit, outcome, and peer-review evidence fits the CPD frameworks of most surgical colleges and regulators — the hours just aren't pre-approved for you yet. Tell us your college and we'll chase it.
